Congrats to Oda. He just wrote the best chapter in wano by FAR! Chapter 995 is a near masterpiece. Now let’s dissect this epic chapter shall we!

First, we start off with MARCO VS FUCKING BIG MOM! LETZZZZ GOOOOOO! The big surprise of this clash is that marcos flame actually outdamges Prometheus. Then marco claims that his phoenix flames are quite unique. So, this confirms that marco probably has some of the hottest flames in one piece. I would dare say his flames are even better than aces. Especially considering Marco most likely gotten stronger post time skip. However Big mom ain’t no bitch! She easily pushes marco back and grabs his neck. Then we have pespero try to kill marco, and as he prepares to shoot him, he tells marco that’s he wanted to kill him on multiple occasions. So, does this confirm that the big mom pirates have bad blood with the white beard pirates?

However, just as Pespero gets ready to pull the trigger, Carrot and Wanda cuts pesperos bitch ass up with the fucking MOON RAID! Then we get to see Carrot and Wanda in their glorious Sulong forms. Let me just carrot wins in the looks department by far, but Wanda looks pretty ferocious in her form. Nevertheless, this confirms that were going to get a match between Carrot and Wanda vs Pespero. That is so fucking hype!!! This battle is basically the female version of neku and ino vs Jack. I predict Wanda and Carrot to win, but Pespero is pretty powerful, don’t underestimate him. Remember Pespero is still in the top 10 strongest of big moms’ children. So, this should be a close fight.

The on the next panel, we see the main difference between Big mom and Kaido. Kaido sticks around to protect his allies, while big mom abandons and abuses her family. This is very ironic because Big moms crew is her actual family, while Kaidos crew is a band of randoms. Also, Big reveals that she doesn’t have any souls to use against marco. This is a major hint to big moms’ weakness. Seems like she needs souls to be at peak performance. So, does this confirm without souls she can’t take a first commander out, or at least not easily at least.

Then immediately in the next panel, Marco notcies the ice demons. This proves my theory right. I theorized that marco, law, and chopper would create an antidote to stop the spread. Now it seems like Marco is about to head to the battlefield where chopper is at.

Now were finally at the panel that will cause the most controversy for power scaling stan lmao! Scratchman Apoo dodges a 720-pound canon from zoro, and fends off Drake and Zoro 1v2! Ayy If this doesn’t raise up apoo on the power rankings, then I don’t know what will. I rated Apoo as a top 5 supernova ever since he shit on luffy and zoro. Apoo haters need to eat shit now.

Then in the next panel we find out that Brook is (surprise surprise) immune to the ice demon virus. This was obvious from the start, because brook is a fucking skeleton lol. So, it seems like brook will be crucial in taking the antidote and fighting the ice demons. And with Marco approaching, this means chopper and marco will soon develop a cure! However, things aren’t so happy and sunshine’s yet, because Choppers arm gets infected by the ice demon! I honestly doubt this will have major impact on the plot moving forward, I suspect Marco to heal his arm with his flames because remember, Marcos flame has amazing regenerative powers.

Now were finally at the best part of the chapter! Ussop and Nami vs Ulti and Page one! So, it starts off with usopp shooting an instant kill green star at ulti. However, Page one easily frees ulti from the plant, which I suspect ulti should’ve been able to as well. But she has a weird incest fetish…

Then Ussop shoots a Bamboo Javelin at ulti and pge one but they are not even affected. Come on Ussop, where is your massive power up? You looking WEAK!!! Then Ulti fucking breaks his skull with a SKULL CANON!!!

Then on the next panel we see Nami already beat up. Come on Oda, you could’ve showed us nami getting one tapped… That’s why the anime is lowkey better than the manga in wano as of now folks. Nevertheless, we get one of the best scenes in Wano in the next page. Ulti attempts to intimidate to Nami to state that luffy will not be the pirate king. We finally get a much needed testy of character from nami. Nami bathed in tears, states hesitantly that luffy WILL be the pirate king. This is such a powerful moment, because it plays off of Nami being the most cowardly in the crew. Nami has always been the one to state she how easily she’ll give up and how she hates pain. Nami has so much respect and faith in her captain that she’s incapable of lying in the face of death. This is what makes Nami my best girl in one piece!

However, from such a powerful moment we get treated with a terrifying page that could fuck up wano in its entirety. Tama joins the fight… This makes me very worried because Tamas devil fruit is plot convience 101. Her DF allows her to control beast, and we already know it works on the beast pirates, so I’m worried Oda will have Tama control Ulti and page one. If Oda stoops this low, then this will severely diminish the quality of wano in my eyes.

But overall, this cheaper is a clear 9/10. Amazing chapter only tainted by tama.

Haven’t read the chapter yet but Ulti looks kinda hot with her hair like that lol. Never really liked her but I might just change my mind

I think based on the fact that Ulti has her mouth covered she won’t be able to be dangoed but perhaps Usopp will shoot a dango into Page One’s mouth and we’ll get Page One vs. Ulti.
