You watch in English dub and you have such emotions. I can’t imagine what would have happened to you if you had watched the original. I know I’m being boring, but watch the original voice acting, you yourself will understand in the future how important this is. Even in a moment with Nami, in the original dub, it’s hit differently. English dub pumps out a lot of emotion from this amazing show….

Love this reaction, I don’t wanna spoil so I’m just gonna say they go more in depth with Arlong during a later arc like waaayyy later but it’ll be an eye opener. You get to see his side and why he’s the way he is.

the best thing about Luffy here is, he had no idea what Nami was going through, no idea about her past. He just noticed that his friend was in pain and that she needed him. Best MC in any anime ever.
