I don’t want to Zoro to be like all shonen protagonist ( being from a powerful family with powerful genes or helped by some inner demon or by eating some powerful shit) he is a great character and is strong by his own hardwork and dedication , the last thing we want is him also being a son of some powerful guy.

What I think about a Zorro father story
I think, if we get one, it is revealed, that Zorros ancestors is the family of Ryuma AND that explains his future powers (Ashura). AND if Green Bull is his father, he will only help Zorro to control it
